Millions of girls are pulled out of school too soon, facing pressure to marry before they’re ready. We believe education is the most powerful way to change that.
We work to keep girls in school by:

In India, millions of girls begin school with hope—but that hope fades too soon. While 9 in 10 girls start elementary school, only half make it to higher secondary. Across India, 3 out of 5 girls aged 14 to 18 no longer step into classrooms—they are married off, dreams of education fade as they’re pulled from their futures, forced into roles of wives and mothers before they can even dream, their potential is lost, and their voices silenced too soon.
